Berchie’s Legacy

 In 1992 Berchie Manley brought The Lurman Woodland Theatre back to life after decades of silence. Her legacy lives on, and every music filled summer week-end at the Lurman carries her spirit forward. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Lurman Woodland Theatre. Memorial Donation for Berchie

There’s plenty of room on the grounds and lots of parking available, but plan to arrive early to get your favorite spot.  We can’t wait ~ Come and celebrate the end of summer with Technicolor Motor Home at The Lurman!

🎵 2026 Season 🎵

DROP-OFFS:

  • Safety First! We changed our drop off location in 2025 to avoid auto and pedestrian accidents.
  • Drop offs of people and picnics can be made at any time at our NEW drop off location off of Bloomsbury. (Look for the little red box in the map). The path from the drop off point to the theatre is paved, and our volunteers will guide you.
  • Drop off at the old entrance off of Hilltop (near the porta potties) will be permitted only until 5:00PM. This is an accommodation for those who arrive very early to set up picnics.

Parking for people with Disabilities (Placards required):

  • The Lurman now has 8 ADA compliant parking spots for people with disabilities. Plan to arrive early if you have a placard for accessible parking and need one of the 8 spots.
  • For safety reasons, we can no longer allow parking for those with disabilities in the grassy area behind the parking spots. Please plan to use the new drop off location off of Bloomsbury if you arrive too late to snag one of the compliant parking spots.

Although no longer in operation, the Catonsville Historical Society will continue to benefit Catonsville for years to come through its gifts to the community.
